ABout the Artist
Renee Dominguez graduated with a BA in Digital Media Innovation from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2017. She photographs primarily live music and concerts, and is currently based out of Austin, Texas.
“I started going to music festivals when I was really young, my parents were into taking us out of town to see certain bands…I think there was a certain aspect to it,” and then an instance where I was like, “Man, this is what brings me the most joy in life.”
Dominguez has covered musicians large and small for her own personal portfolio, as well as for local publications such as KUTX, On Vinyl Media, and Do512. “Go out and shoot anything—don’t be afraid to take photos of your friends…if I didn’t have that, I probably wouldn’t have any idea where to start.”
