Contracommon is happy to offer its facilities and amenities to local artists interested in hosting workshops and events! We regularly post open calls for art and also accept exhibition proposals for our gallery on a rolling basis. Please fill out the form below to apply. Contracommon invites local emerging artists working in any media to apply for a group exhibition dealing with the human figure. Contracommon can provide pedestals and one projector if needed.

Opening reception: Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 from 4-7pm

Feedback Loop: a Critique GROUP EXHIBITION
applications due: January 31st, 2025
Contracommon invites local emerging artists to apply for a monthly critique group resulting in a collaborative exhibition. Selected artists will meet at Contracommon to share their practices, and provide feedback culminating in a new work by each artist. Each artist is allowed 36” width wall space but can fill the space vertically as much as the work requires. 3D and video work are also welcome, Contracommon can provide pedestals and one projector if needed.
