February 11th  6-10pm CLOSING RECEPTION WITH Live Poetry AND COMEDY!

In conjunction with Austin’s premier printmaking festival, Print Austin, Iris Rylander’s exhibition ALLEGORY runs from January 13th to February 15th. Iris has invited storytellers of other mediums to share their work. While the show is up, Contracommon will host events each weekend that include workshops, live demos, poets, musicians, comedians, and more.

Come close out ALLEGORY in style with a party on Saturday, February 11th from 6-10pm! Poet, visual artist, and king of many of things, Vanel Louidor will share some of his poetry and visual art. Saúl Hernández will be reading from his recently published book of poems. Julia Sykora will make us laugh by sharing some of her musings about life.
