In conjunction with Austin’s premier printmaking festival, Print Austin, Iris Rylander’s exhibition ALLEGORY runs from January 13th to February 15th. Iris has invited storytellers of other mediums to share their work. While the show is up, Contracommon will host events each weekend that include workshops, live demos, poets, musicians, comedians, and more.
Join us in the Contracommon gallery on Saturday, February 4th from 7-9:30pm for a live music performance by the talented Claire Kibodeaux at 7 pm. She will be followed by Sueitko of 2SpiritQueer at 8:30. Suietko will be sharing some of their poetry inspired by their Totopek culture. They will also have a selection of their visual art!
