Join Kelsey Baker for this beginner-focused workshop series, all about the basics of oil painting.

Over the course of three workshops, we’ll cover proper use of materials, a brief history of oil painting, building value, color theory, composition, imprimatura or underpainting, and traditional still-life techniques. Students will create a painting during each of the three workshops.

Session 1 - September 3rd: Building Value
Session 2 - September 10th: Color Studies
Session 3 - September 24th: Sustained Still-Life

Materials included with registration. This workshop series is intended for artists aged 16 and up.
